One-on-One Coaching

As a Functional Health Coach, I see life from a multi-dimensional viewpoint.   As humans, there is much more to us than our physical bodies.  Our health includes our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual selves.  One can not exist in a balanced state without the other.  They are all interconnected and all play vital roles in how we as individuals function.

Our health journey will be just as unique as we are.  We may all differ based on our gender, race, culture, likes, dislikes, life experiences and so much more.  These differences are what drive the conversations in our coaching sessions.  The client’s own unique journey is at the center of our coaching experience.

We all innately know what we need to do to regain balance in our lives.  We sometimes just need a little help along the way with some understanding, hope, encouragement, and accountability to keep us honest.   I work with my clients to help them regain balance in their overall body health.  This may look different for everyone so a unique action plan is developed and executed in a time period that works best for each client.  I have options with regard to the length of coaching programs as well.

Coaching Structure

During our coaching program, we will first focus on getting to know each other and establishing a rapport.  In the very first session, we will review the client’s health history.  This will contain their goals, expectations as well as the history of their overall health.  Once both parties have agreed to move forward we will continue with the program.   The client’s comfort level is of utmost importance to me.  Holding space for my clients to be vulnerable and feel safe in sharing their private truth is extremely important to me.    

Once we have unpacked goals and expectations we will focus on what the day-to-day routine looks like and what the frustrations or blockages a client may have.  This is where I get to understand how I can help in more detail. If there is any guidance or education that is needed I would provide it.

Having an understanding of the challenges ahead we can now create a plan to be executed.  I would walk the client through various techniques to help them envision the life they would like and how they can possibly achieve that life.  This, again can look different for everyone based on their health goals.  It could mean losing 10 lbs for one client while for another it could mean reducing their pain from an 8 to a 2 for example.   If my services sound like it might be a fit for you, set up a free consultation with me.  Look forward to hearing from you.
